1. Harbour & City trial flight $160 incl GST
Experience the thrill of flying a plane, accompanied by your very own skilled instructor. Push the throttle forward and pull back the stick – you’re in control as you take off from Wellington’s International Airport for your 20-minute flight
Included is a pre-flight ground briefing, followed by approximately 20 minutes of absolute awesome-ness as you take off and land at Wellington’s International Airport. (Allow about 1 hour total including briefing)
2. The Ultimate trial flight $230 incl GST
Go further and learn more with your 40-minute trial flight in the Wellington skies. Take off from Wellington International Airport and learn how to control your aircraft above scenic Wellington. This is the ideal gift for those who feel “they need something else” or are contemplating learning to fly. (Allow about 90 minutes including preflight briefing)
3. Three-flight special $750 incl GST
Your own special three-flight package gives you the confidence to take-off, learn about climbing and descending, turn, and land – all from Wellington International Airport. Includes: Student log book

Prices include GST. Number of flights estimated in Packages 4 & 5 are based on average 0.8 flight time (approx 45 minutes). Individual flight prices for Packages 4 and 5 are subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel and other costs. Refunds will incur the cost of additional benefits and a $250 administration fee. Eligibility for flying solo is subject to passing CAA Flight Radio exam, an aviation medical, English Proficiency test and readiness approval by the Club’s Chief Flying Instructor.
Gift vouchers may be purchased by calling in to the Aero Club at 24 George Bolt Street, Airport Retail Park, Wellington on the western “Kilbirnie side” of the airfield, anytime between 8.30am and 5.00pm seven days (refer to the location map). Eftpos facilities are available and we accept Visa, Mastercard, cheque or cash payment. We can also process Visa or Mastercard remotely if you prefer to phone, fax or email us. Gift vouchers can be mailed or couriered to a designated address if you’re not able to collect yourself. The vouchers are valid for use 3 months from the date of issue and are non-refundable.
