New Live Webcam page

We have added a live webcam page to our website which gives you a realtime view of inside our hangar at Wellington International Airport.

Remembrance Day WWI Airshow – Sat 12th Nov

The Remembrance Day World War I Airshow is on in Masterton this Saturday, 12 November from 1.00pm – 6.00pm.  This commemorates the signing of the Armistice and the end to the Great War.

There will be free vintage vehicle rides between 2.00 – 3.30pm.  Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will also be making an appearance!

The Airshow will run between 3.30 – 6.00pm.

If you are interested in going contact the club as soon as possible so we can organise some planes.

Talk at the Bar – Sunday 6th November

This evening, Sunday 6th November, Dusty Miller, a retired 757 captain for Thomson Air (based in the UK) will be giving a talk in the bar, sharing some of his aviation experiences.  The Bar will be open once all the flying for the day is done, which will be around 5pm.

Clubroom bookings

We are no longer able to take bookings for the lounge and conference rooms at our old clubhouse as we are starting the process of moving our furniture out.  Our apologies to people and groups who were hoping to use the facilities.

Sunday Oct 9th flyaway to Omaka

The weather is looking great for this Sunday’s fly-away, which will be going to Omaka. Going to Omaka will be a good experience for people who are getting close to sitting their PPL flight tests, and there is a lovely museum close by as well.

Interest needs to be registered by tomorrow(Friday) to allow us to sort out details, so get in quick for this great opportunity.
