The 86th Annual General Meeting of the Wellington Aero Club will be held on Wednesday 29 July 2015.
The meeting will be held at the Spruce Goose restaurant and bar (the former Wellington Aero Club clubrooms) on the corner of Moa Point Rd and Cochrane St in Lyall Bay. We are planning to precede the AGM with light refreshments, including bar facilities.
The order of events for the evening will be as follows:
18:30 Venue opens for pre-meeting refreshments
19:30 AGM commences
At the conclusion of the AGM, the bar will remain open for members to socialise.
So that we can have an idea of how much food to order, could you please RSVP to secretary@flywellington.co.nz by 24 July 2015.
The formal notice convening the AGM, the agenda, a nomination form for officers and a proxy voting form were emailed to all members in late June. If you didn't receive a copy of these documents please email secretary@flywellington.co.nz.
We would like to encourage as many members as possible to attend the AGM to hear first-hand how the club is performing, as well as the challenges the upcoming year holds.
If you wish to nominate a member to the Executive Committee, please complete the nomination form and return to the club office or scan and send by email to secretary@flywellington.co.nz by 8 July 2014. The list of nominations received will be circulated to members prior to the AGM.

If you cannot attend, but would like to vote, please complete the proxy voting form and return to the club office or scan and send by email to secretary@flywellington.co.nz by 15 July 2014.
If you wish to lodge a notice of motion to be considered at the AGM, this must be:a) Typewritten on plain paper; andb) Signed by two financial members and legibly endorsed with their names; andc) Received by the Secretary by 5pm on 8 July 2014.
Only current financial members will have voting rights at the AGM or may be elected to office. Any former members who are no longer financial members will be considered eligible if they become financial members prior to 19:00 on the day of the AGM. Membership subscriptions can be paid at the club before the AGM or paid in cash or by cheque (we won't have WAC EFTPOS or credit card facilities at the venue) on the night of the AGM.
